Yeah, im looking for the "right" deal and car... honestly it may happen a bit later as i keep seeing prices falling and later this year will be under MSRP. Im actually glad so many speculators bought them and didnt drive them, i cant believe the miles im seeing, sub 100 in some cases, crazy. Mine is going to be driven, straight to the track, after brakes are swapped and cage is in.

Glad to see tables have turned, go after only exactly what you want and make them work for your money
Same thing happened to me, literally walked away from me when i made an offer just above MSRP back on the gt3rs 991.1 a long while back, that car is now $160k-180k, and they wanted $290k. They have called several times since, lol, just a joke. I just made an offer for another car, gt2rs, that was at what the previous owner wanted, MSRP, but the dealer wants to keep prices up and refused, we shall see, they may trick someone into buying as ive heard all the stories, e.g. numbered car, look at the 997 gt2 as it is such a good investment, you cant lose money, come on, are people really buying it, well i know some did / are.

well 991 GT aren't even numbered, and I don't see prices really climbing any time soon, rather than staying where they are if not continuing to drop.. YMMV. lots of options too, both listed and probably not even listed to keep up appearances that the car is hard to get

Good luck with your search. I'd push you to go after the mag wheels, they are absolutely stunning and make the car along with the WP IMO

dealers are playing games trying to keep pricing up. many have been on lot 180+ days. More keep hitting market. No pressure on potential buyers to do anything but wait.

I bet you there are more unadvertised GT2RSs on dealer lots as there are advertised ones. Let them sit and keep paying interest on them.

Some dealers are actually pretty good, they realized the big Adms are gone. My biggest issue is when they purposely try and lie and say these are limited production and reference the numbered 997 gt2rs, just wrong. I get it, some are inexperienced with Porsche but the dealer should be relied upon for good info. I spoke to Porsche NA several times about these issues and finally got an email from them last year where they admitted the issue and were addressing directly with the problem dealers. I miss the days when they were begging me to take a 918, wasn't the right time for me but damn I wish I had.

I don't know. I think the cars are slowly moving. My local dealer had 4 3RS about 3 months ago. Now they have none. They had 3-2RS and now they are down to 1 (that is used with 1100 miles on it). They still have several GT3s though that will have a birthday soon.

The real litmus test is next month when next year's models are starting to trickle in we'll see and I'm in for a decent deal on used 2rs or turbo s coupe or cab.
