Need garage lift advice...
Hi there;
I'm shopping for a lift. The problem is that my garage ceiling is low - as in near 7' tall with a garage door that's even shorter.
I remember reading about a power lift that only raises a car enough to get under with a creeper, or whatever they call those skateboard like things.
From what I remember, they were electric and had ramps. You'd drive your car on, turn it on, and it would lift the car somewhere around 2', and lock safely into place.
Is this a delusion? What do you call that type of lift? Any links or recommendations? Thanks in advance...

With limited height like you have, you're relegated to using a short or mid rise lift.
