I have put a deposit down on this car and wondered if anyone knew it or had any dealings with this company?

If it were an 'S' wouldnt there be an S on the speedo? I'm pretty sure the S models only came as coupes.

Yep....dont think they ever made a Cabrio S...But I could be wrong...heck, they made 7 speedsters...and why would the car be only selling for $45K (w/12,000 miles) if it truly were an extremely rare, one of a kind Porsche Cab S??

There was never officially an S cabrio. Some people have said in the past here that the BH dealer ordered 7, or converted them to wide body. This car cosmetically looks flawless and even if its a conversion, provided no accidents, I would ****** it too...

Wow! If the claims are correct, that is truly a very, very special car. And for $45k??? clubrcr is a lucky guy. Looks like another case of "dealer doesn't know what he's got", IF the claims are correct about this being a factory S cab.

This is supposed to be one of the Beverly Hills conversion cars. One of the 8 made. I am confused about the price vs. mileage. I am going to have a PPI done. I would think if it is OK, that car would eb a special car to own.

It also doesn't have the metal shifter and handbrake that were a feature of the 'S' models.

I think it's safe to say that clubrcr is a knowledgeable buyer.

Thanks for saying that... although I have had a few Porsches, I have found that not everyone is honest. I, like anyone on this board, want to be careful.

I have seen low mile 98 cabs selling for the upper 40s and low 50s. This cab is different, maybe some people feel it is a bastard Porsche or they just don't know what they have. Agood PPI will make me feel more comfortbale.

I have found Rusnak Porsche to be close, I wonder if they are good at PPIs?
