Whats happened is ADM's are down on 991.2GT3's and so are GT3RS prices. My guess is you could sell your car for $10 over - so $179. You'd have to get a higher mileage RS for that. Maybe 15K miles and a regular non PTS color.
You'd have to sell and buy private party to get that. You could not do any of that through a dealer
I sold my 991.1 RS w/ 16k miles on it for 185k last week via Rennlist. Thought it was a fair price all things considered. Not sure the OP is as out of the ballpark as people are claiming. Just dont expect a showroom RS and you'll be good to go.
It was a tracked car with certain mods for example.. the sillgaurds said champion racing instead of GT3 RS. Tracked are always going to fetch less than non-tracked as well as it had relatively high mileage. You will probably be able to find them in the $180K range but compare apples to apples. I can also find 997.2 RS's in the $150-140 range if I'm OK with either high mileage or certain over revs, pick your poison.
5,000 is not high mileage, and the Champion Motorsport sills are hardly indicative of the car being tracked. The harnesses on the other hand...
With that said, it would be absurd to assume an RS has not been tracked and I would much prefer a tracked RS vs. non-tracked because chances are it's much better maintained than its non-tracked counterpart. YMMV.

I don't believe it is high mileage either but there are plenty under 3K that one can find so relative to the market one can choose much lower mileage if they desire (higher the mileage, lower the cost, not too difficult to comprehend). I also wasn't saying that the ONLY indication was the sills it was AN example of a mod there were other mods that made it more indicative that it was a focused track car (nothing wrong with that as that is it's intended purpose). Absurd to assume that an RS has not been tracked? Are you kidding me! Look at the ones for sale, plenty of the them specifically state, never been tracked, never been driven in the rain or the snow. Is it absurd to think that a car with less than 3k miles has not seen the track and they're plenty of those. I have no problem taking my car to the track but I want to be the first to do it if given the option.
