These things have variable traction control as long as the owners are smart enough to leave it on they should be fine. All the guys I've instructed in C7 Z06 were old and drove very carefully.

Most of the drivers I’ve worked with drove carefully, but the car gave them great confidence. Some drivers were VERY quick and weren’t working as hard as other people in big cars who were working much harder to be not as quick.

And I had a newbie 25 year old with one who was by far the best student I ever had. Went from learning hand position to traction off trail braking in one weekend.
One of the scariest was a mid-aged guy in a Boxter. Go figure.

Oh - I'm not. Sooner or later the laws of physics end up taking over. Like ProCoach says - some of these cars install a degree of confidence - some of which is not warranted.
I've had a variety of students in Corvettes over the years from one extreme to another. Had a new z07 that was a great car - and a great driver. Would listen and immediately apply what I was telling him - also had a dude show up to his 3rd DE with a modded corvette (c5) on hoosiers that stayed up all nigh playing "Forza" so he would know the track - apparently better than me. He spun on 5 because in the game he could carry more speed going into 3...
