The tag says West Houston.

Anyone having a car shipped north?

The rotors looked severely rusted so its been on this trailer for some time.

Flood car?

Engine cover isn't even securely closed, unless it's broken

Odd sight, a new 911 and a Hellcat on the same trailer with some other cars that don't look to be in great shape (look at the tires on the Jeep Renegade and the front bumper of whatever that is directly in front of the Charger).

Prob a dealer swap. They send the cheapest way possible.

It takes one minute for the rotors to look rusty. I wouldn’t assume it’s a flood car because of that.

I agree. Rust on rotors isn't a sign of flooding.

That said, I would, however, assume that any car headed out of the Houston area is a flood car even if its brake discs are shiny.

Exactly. Nothing looks out of the ordinary on that car, no water lines, and it has dealer plate in the back. PWH wouldn't be likely to be pawning off a flooded car on someone. That's likely just a dealer swap.

Do you know how big the Houston metro area is? I think a lot of people think the entire city flooded.

Yup. RI fits inside the outer loop. I've got a lot of history and experience with the Houston area. Over a period of 15 years I lived in many parts of Texas.

Certainly there are relatively few 'flood cars' but those that exist will find their way through the supply chain with attempts to hide the damage. A smart buyer should be looking deeper than usual at anything coming out of gulf coast Texas.
