This car's been on sale for over a year and price actually went up 20% from initial asking of ~$23k earlier in the year. Nothing special about the car except for very nice conditioned '83 5 spd. Not an euro.
I live ~45 min from the dealer and if anyone is really interested, I'd be happy to check it out for anyone.
nice car for $15-18k, but not $29k. Drooman's car was in much better condition, and I can't see this worth more even if it is 5 spd.

I don't know Hoi, that's a more interesting car than mine was considering the color and gearbox. The interior is strange though... Ad says "full leather" but it actually has vinyl dash, glovebox, and armrests but a leather console. I've never seen a car this way from the factory, somthin's up there.

My car, also an '83 has full leather except the pod, dash, and glove box. I would not dismiss his claim yet. This car has the upgraded audio option with two speakers in the doors too.
Very original, one decent repaint, interior very good, one crack on pod. Starts right up, idles a little low after warmup ( ~500 rpm). Owner selling many of his cars from his collection. Car located in Portland , Maine

I saw this GTS at The Dragone Auction in Limerock Park on Labor Day. I was expecting to buy it at bargain price as it was **** down rain all day. It sold for $90K + 10% buyers commission. Above what my bottom line was. They had zero service or ownership history, only said it was originally cloth interior?? Euro GTS?? Just redone in light gray leather. The leather seats were perfect, looked new. Love the color. The car looked awesome.

Thanks Moose for that bit about the leather...I'm always finding out new obscure oddities that come out of the factory. They probably had an option for each leather bit enabling one to order a number of combinations...aside from the material mismatch at the console/glovebox/dash area it's a smarter combination than all leather up there under that glass. Surprises me the factory would do the mismatch as a standard (non special ordered) build...but maybe they did!
