Wait sticky don't you have a base .2? Which is comparable in slowness to the .1S or GTS?

Much stronger than a GTS actually and the .1S is not even worth mentioning:

Enjoy

My advice would be to keep working that night shift until you can afford a 991.2. I'm sure you'll get there one day! In the meantime you can enjoy videos though.

The hatred in this thread is some next-level ****.

I can't believe a bunch of people can argue to this extent.

I don't know about the rest of you, but they're all amazing cars. I'd take any 991 911 (MT only - but that's another argument for another day ) over any other car at any other price. (Partially, because there just are not a lot of cars with manual transmissions anymore)

For me, this is my dream car. While I chose the 991.1S purely because I do prefer the sound of the NA engine, I would have caved under the weight and purchased a 992.2 if I grew too frustrated of trying to find the right car with the right options.

My actual dyno is posted in another thread but would you mind explaining how another 100 lb-ft at the wheels at 3000 rpm won't make it quicker than a GTS? Would you mind explaining where you think the GTS turbos will dyno with a tune?

As I seem to be living rent free in your head and so this topic can be kept on the acceleration comparison rather than your hurt feelings, do a search.

Enjoy the 991.2 performance advantage. I am.

Oh yeah we'd all happily drive either and don't even care, it's just fun to push #GrandWizardSticky's buttons.

Oh you poor thing you don't realize Cobb corrects and doesn't post raw graphs.

Here's an UNCORRECTED dyno from a Mustang of a 991.1 Carrera S 3.8:

The difference is I play the dyno game better. Just like how the 991.2 makes better use of torque under the curve. Even the base 991.2 is in another league.

As some people are bad at math here, the 991.2 Carrera 3.0 tune only makes 37 more whp and 112 lb-ft of torque more than the 991.1 Carrera S. Enjoy

Hmm well HP maybe equal in your tune or whatever but the GTS crushing the track in the video I didn't watch has RWS and probably other advantages that your base doesn't have. I bet your base is slooooooooow around a track. Suuuuuuppeeerrr sloooooow.

Just to further hammer the point home, let's look at Dynojets.

Stock vs. tuned horsepower 991.2 Carrera S 3.0:

With torque stock:

991.1 Carrera 3.8:

No wonder 991.1 owners are so mad.
