Trades Considered: 997.2 specifically most attractive would be PDK Cabriolet S in unique colors - yes quite a change but i now own a race car : ) 987.2 Boxster in cool colors also considered.
For sale is my 2010 Cayman S (non ims) that has been fastidiously maintained and upgraded by porsche techs to be a great track and weekend car with no over revs past level 2, no incidents and has a clean car fax.. I spent well over 25 grand preparing this car with tried and true track upgrades that give amazing precision while only increasing durability. Testament to this, i drove the car (no trailering) from western pa to Mosport, Barber, Vir, Glenn, Mid ohio for the past 2.5 years NEVER being stranded or had any issues. My buddies and i are racing chump this year so i have used this car very little and I’m going to go to a 997.2 for the occasional track day to replace this.
Car History:
I bought the car 2.5 years ago form real estate developer in texas with 52k miles. Had clean ppi in Austin but did not get a copy of report.
Factory Options:
Guards Reds/Black Interior
Bose Audio with iPod and Aux In
Bluetooth Phone
Body Colored Center Console
Heated and ventilated Seats
Maintenance:
Up to date.
Track Alignment (not cheap with upgrades), fluids and belts in March at Porsche Dealer. Not driven much since cause of Chump Car.
2016: Rebuilt Rear Calipers (cause of PSM), front left wheel bearing.
Thick rotors and PFC08’ Brake Pads with 75% second set of full rotors/pads to go with car. I went with a fresh set when i had service and i just carry extras to events.
Previous owner did 50k service
Body:
Good condition - previous owner must have repainted front air dam cause fresher than hood. Lots of Rock chips from 75k driven car on hood. Rear bumperettes are scraped. To my knowledge all other panels/paint original.
Interior:
Excellent condition besides scratched on center console and door sill from taking race seats in and out.
Upgrades:
Engine/Gearbox:
Installed factory short shifter
ASCO single mass flywheel/new clutch at 60k miles. Awesome throttle response and super easy to heel/toe.
PSM Total defeat switch wired/installed center console. Starting in 09 porsche did not allow total defeat of PSM which during track driving comes on and will overheat and eat rotors/pads as well as Caliper. Look for Burgundy calipers to know they have been smoked.
Safety:
Seats: for $38k, it includes Evo US (the widest seats that fit in the cayman) recovered with black leather and white deviated stitching by Classic9 with leather inserts, houndstooth inserts and the original cloth inserts. I spent a lot on these seats and i really like them - used seats are cheap if you dont love them - ill keep and knock 2 grand off the price.
GMG Bar powder coated Guards Red
Schroth Hybrid for Driver (more comfortable), Schroth Profi (easier for different passengers)
Suspension:
Track Wheel Studs
Jrz RS One Double Adjustable Coilovers - i run on 12’s at the track and dial to full soft for the street. 448lb front springs/550lb Rear Springs
GT3 Front Control Arms, Gt3 Alignment Shims with Monoballs and camber kit
Tarret Front Swaybar GT series
Target Rear Sway included but not on car because i thought better balanced with it
Droplinks Front
Locking Plate Kit Adjustable Toe Links
Rear Toe Links and locking plates
Brakes
GT3 master cylinder
Stainless Steel Brakel ines
GT3 Brake Ducts
PFC08’s extra set at 75%
Rotors extra set at 75%
Wheels/Tires:
Advan Ado8r’s at 75%
18 Inch cayman wheel powder coated
Extras Included:
Fuse Jumper for AIM/Smarty Cam (not included)
Factory Heated/Cooled Seats
17” Boxster Wheels with Pilot Sports (fit with spacers!) i would use if we traveled super long distances (barber/mosport) and i had a buddy to throw in trailer
Extra rear side trim panels if you want to take bar out since i had to cut panels for bar

Beautiful car!
I know you are looking for a 997, but juuust in case you consider a similarly set-up, low mileage and very well-maintained Z4M Coupé, then we should talk. Thanks.

I'm building a pdk car right now. You can't build this car for the asking price. Shocked it hasn't sold. GLWS
