Freeze point is looming on my GTS Coupe. One thing is certain, it will be Carmine Red, black leather interior, carbon fiber trim. Was giving it a lot of thought this evening, and for numerous reasons PCCB's have been talking in the back of my head. No brake dust, great performance, last a LONG time, yellow calipers which I think would look great with CR. Then I started thinking how would a Carmine red GTS Coupe with PCCB's look, with Racing Yellow seat belts and Racing Yellow deviated stitching? Like a Big Mac on wheels? Or something really hot? I'm thinking the latter. Or do I do the PCCB's and stick with my original plan of black seat belts and GT Silver deviated stitching ? Thoughts and opinions welcome. Thanks
It's your car but yellow seat belts would turn me off.
i have a carmine panamera. The color stands on its own.
Thanks for your comment, I also came to the same conclusion overnight. Still undecided on the PCCB's, but as much as I like the attributes of them they would put me way over budget so from a money consideration the idea will likely go.
I would check out the validity of the ceramic brakes lasting a long time. I had them on an Aston Martin and thought that too. Talked to a friend with a new GT3 that has them and he was told by a local race support garage to remove them for track use because they don't t last long and are $20k to replace.

Yeah that is the downside, initial cost plus maintenance.
Think I'm back to my original plan. Jack Daniels had an influence on what looked like a possibility last night.
I did PCCBs and matching yellow seat belts. I get a lot of compliments on how the two tie in to each other. It's subtle, but it shows a deft touch.
PCCBs are awesome. My wheels never look dirty, which allows me to go longer between hand washing the car which is a labor of love but very time consuming if you do it right. There are already 3rd party suppliers for ceramic rotors. As with everything PORSCHE, factory parts will always command a premium but you shouldn't need rotors unless you have 150k miles of street driving on the car. Track use will naturally shorten that amount of time.
OK, I have not given up on PCCB's quite yet because I like what they have to offer for street use. The interior of my car is black leather with CF trim, and deviated stitching in GT Silver, black dials and black seat belts. Classy and not flashy. So looking for opinions on the rendering in this post. One option would be to leave the calipers yellow, another is to paint them CR, but I'd rather not paint them. Ferrari's use this combo and it looks great, but then this is not a Ferrari! Freeze for this order may be as early as mid week this week. Thanks
