Dealer wants $1,400 for the spark plugs alone, and $2,000 for the entire service. The brake fluid flush is $250, and they put the high temp stuff in. Looks like I will be doing all but maybe $500 of the service myself again. I just don't see the value in most of this. Of course they will do the balance of the service, checking this and that, and they will note that I did the rest. I keep all receipts.

With the extra $1,200 saved I think I will go buy that leather steering column, with the rest going into the tire fund. Of course, I am not expecting a .2 RS allocation anytime soon, either.

I am still below 14,500 KM even though i took it to work three days of this week as i knew the 2 week vacation i am on now would make me miss it
