I am trying to change my jrz rs2 coilovers fit for a 997tt to a 996tt. I found this set up to change the lower mounting points but, my rs2 have what seems adjustment dials that the ones i want to switch to don't.

You have apples and oranges there. The 996 lowers are from remote canister Pros. The ones you have are RSIIs. Two different shocks, not interchangeable. Sell what you have and get a proper shock. I never recommend the RSIIs as it's a twin tube shock which is less desirable than a mono tube shock. A mono tube shock is much better. All motorsport shocks are mono tube.
