Here are some pics of the only carmine .2 GT3 that I could find. Dug them up from Autogespot.
If you have any others, please post here.
That color really offsets the black accents on the .2 GT3- We have it on our Macan and chose to keep the side blade black, I'm glad we did! Kind of a poor shot, but shows the black with Carmine (black door handles look great too!):
I like the Carmine with all the black bits but those lights with the silver/grey ring just doesn't work. There's a classic example where the car should have the black LED's.
I have CR GT4 with Black every thing. Great color but with GR being a "no cost" pick I would not spend the ~$4000. - to each their own
Where CR really sets itself apart is when sunlight/bright lighting is not present because it really almost looks burgundy. In the sunlight I can mix up CR/GR
I love both colors, GR and CR. But my personal preference: for a winged car (e.g. GT3, Turbo), I prefer GR as the sportier, more playful variant; for a wingless car (e.g. GTS, rumored wingless GT3?), I prefer CR as the serious, more formal-feeling alternative.

Does anyone share the opinion that Carmine loses a bit of appeal on larger bodies (cayenne, 911) vs smaller (Cayman)? My opinion only. I absolutely love Carmine- just not as much on the .2 GT3.
I'm certain pictures of a .2 Carmine GT3 over silver wheels will help to shut me right up
I agree that Carmine Red looks better on the GT4 than on the GT3.
I also think it looks better on the Macan than it does on the Cayenne.
I agree that Carmine looks stronger in the shade than it does in the light.
I agree that Carmine suites the wingless 991 more so than the winged car.
I had my 991.2 GT3 order narrowed down to either Carmine or GT Silver.
I chose GT Silver.
My GT3.2 order is also Carmine. I was torn between Guards vs Carmine for my build. $4k is a lot for red paint. Then I saw two 991s parked next to each other in each... for me the clear winner was Carmine, didn't like the orange in Guards. Up until that time my build was Guards. Hopefully we will start to see more pics in the wild online from overseas. If not, with the delays in USA cars I'll post pics from my ED in early October.
Haku, I'm still taking my RS to Smokies again. That was a blast.
That color is hideous. Hope you didn't order your new 3 in that color Mayur!!
LOL.
Can't wait to see it
Tal, I like hideous colors and hence the initial PTS scramble!

M, love the color on your Macan!

I tend to agree and my build has the black led's, black handles, black wheels and pccb's.
