Default New wheels don't fit?!?! Help asap

So I ordered these wheels and was promised a sure fit. They've sold many wheels. I'm sure it's supposed to fit like a glove.

HOWEVER. The diameter of the 3 edges that come out from the center of the wheel hub is a micron too big for the inner diameter of my wheel. The wheel fits on for a millimeter, and then gets stuck like a peg going into a small hole. You can't push it in nicely. I also tried other rims on other sides. Same story.

Can i sand those lips that stick out from the center of the rotor? Can I sand the inside of the wheel? Can I gently hammer the lips inward?

will it cause unevenness and vibration if I sand a bit of the lips?

only like 1mm fits and then gets stuck and the wheel doesn't slide onto it.

The wheels don't fit, OP. Stop until you hear back from the seller. Anything you do is either going to damage your car or damage the wheels to the point the seller won't take them back.

Here's one of OP's images showing shavings coming away from the wheel where it's interfering with the hub.

What wheels did you order? Are they authentic Porsche wheels?

Have you contacted the seller about this?

Are the wheels powder coated? Or have a custom finish? These can be thick enough to distort the fit.

I would not hammer or modify the prongs. These are part of the hub that is pressed into the wheel bearing. They actually are the device that centers the wheel and makes sure it runs true.

I ran into this problem on my Genesis. The wheels I bought were new stock wheels that were re coated. I simply took a grinding wheel and took a 1/16 of an inch out of the center and used them. But hey were 400 buck or so. If you spent big bucks I would see if you can return them, if you can't return them, get out the calipers and see how much you are off. FWIW

You can take a knife and cut the burs off.
