i started as roadie.
then in college, roomy dragged me to tahoe to do MTB (i was really sick with cold and NEVER seen a MTB in my life).. rented one... man, it was tough, i have no control over the bike. i veered WAY WAY WAY OFF trail and all i heard was my friends calling "fk, john's gonna die john's gonna die, damn, he's in the shrubs... (shrubs were 4' tall)... " somehow i managed to extricate myself in one piece. then kept going up the lift and down the hill. hit plenty or rocks, roots, destroyed one rental, hit tree, took two of my freinds out cause i haven't fifgure out how to stop on loose dirt.... THAT WAS FUN.
switched to MTB and ditched road bikes.
now too old, cannot keep breaking bones.... so back on road again.
Mile2424 that is some very serious paint work! amazing! Makes my Irish green and signal yellow look mundane in comparison. A project retro look Epic HT that intend to race a few xco .. brooks seat just turned up.
Fabe 32, cant include the PTS Gt3 as still waiting and might be waiting a while it seems
State Undefeated Fixed Gear I built a few years back in L22R Mint Green, it now finds its home on my friends matching RWB.
Since have built a 2017 Specialized P3 in custom pearl mint with Porsche Mint Green graphics, much easier on the knees and I enjoy the trails and local pump bike track with it.
