dull front caliper finish

Mine has the same thing, I'm going to ask my dealer about this as it must be somewhat common. Also, keep an I on your wheel bearings. Myself and another are both getting our 2017 Macan 2.0 L car's wheel bearings replaced. They have already a upgrade to the wheel bearings.

2017 base Macan brake caliper finish
Received answer on front caliper finish from Porsche.During a recall for fuel gasket .i asked about front brake caliper finish, service writer was not aware but looked at others and said there all the same.Porsche USA tells me the finish is different because the calipers are a different size. I feel they understand there's a problem but don't want to admit because then they would have to correct.Maybe just not enough complaints.

I am doing the same thing however I have a good relationship with my service dept and they got Porsche to replace them when it went in for some other warranty work.

I can't say that I have a good relationship with my Service Dept. It's been a real frustrating experience for me. Getting an appointment took me months. They were disjointed and unorganized when I did get in. Passed me around to different service agents and I never got answers to a couple of problems/questions. I did see my comments were written up so if anything does come up again in those areas, I can say told you so. This is a different dealer than where I bought the car. Shouldn't make a difference right? They treated me like a red haired stepchild. I also wonder if the service load for the increased number of cars they're selling is effecting the quality of their service. I have 4 dealers in the area to chose from. I think I'll take my car somewhere else next time.

Have seen this on a few of our shop's Macans.... avoid wheel acid during car washes! certainly doesn't help
Would recommend trying your dealer of choice first to have them run it by their porsche rep to see if PCNA will help, if not, weekend project!!! (if you're up to it / able)
Cheers
