To All Carmine Red Owners
I am going back and forth with color selection on an order. One color that intrigues me is Carmine Red. I have that paint sample at the moment, the dealer let me take it over the weekend. In some lighting, dark overcast for example, it looks almost burgundy which is not my favorite. In other lighting such as sunny it is beautiful. I have never seen a Carmine Red car in person and there are none in the area. The nearest ones are at dealers that are about 4 hours away.
When I look at pictures of Carmine online, it is stunning. I attached a few photos and am asking if the Carmine Red in the computer pictures are true, or is the actual color different in some way. And of the pictures I have provided, which is the truest? The first one is absolutely drop dead gorgeous, although all of the others are nice too. Thanks

My panamera is carmine.
Ive seen 991 in carmine also and I think it makes the car look incredible. Guards red has a bit of an orange to it especially when parked next to carmine. Carmine has a deeper red. I've parked this car next to my red Ducatis as well as next to a red Ferrari and the color is nearly identical to the colors the Italians use.

Here's Carmine in low light in my garage. I've never, ever thought it looked burgundy, even at dusk. It's the best red Porsche's done since Polo in the '60s.

All these pics have me quite excited. I chose Carmine for my upcoming GT3, I've never seen a GT3 that color so fingers crossed it will as good as all of yours beautiful cars.

My exterior color search is over. I have seen enough photos and my dealer supplied color sample out in the full sun,and the color is absolutely gorgeous. Carmine it is. Now on to the interior. Black, black with red deviated stitching and red belts, or Luxor Beige/Black. Leaning to one of the black choices.

I normally don't like black wheels and accents, but a Carmine Red GTS that used park by my apartment was absolutely beautiful. It's much better than Guards red IMHO. I'd normally never buy a red Porsche, but Carmine Red has changed that for me (particularly with the black wheels and accents).
