Great write up. We just supplied a set of Zunsports and the owner asked how to deal with the temp sensor? I will likely install a set on both my 6 and 7 turbos just so I know. Looks like a very nice product.

Just took a picture of my buddies speedtech screens. They are out of the question for me. Screws that show.

I did modify mine so I have them as pre production Speedtech mesh, no screws visible on my car.

Can you post a picture of yours? And how did you modified them? I do like the speedtech mess but don't want screws showing.

I made frames to put the mesh on and attached that on the bumper, from inside of course. No drilling!

I'm on vacation and will be away a couple more weeks but I'll post pics when I get back!

I've done the same on my Boxster, it's still an option for me. How did you mount yours? Closer pictures by chance?

this it "too" close but only other pic i have. all in all, for the 10 bucks, they look the same as all the ( ahem ) branded ones folks sell for $250/300+. its a cpl bucks of chicken wire mesh, tacked to the underside of the bumper, slats removed is all. problem is, ( as mentioned ) the support piece is visible behind, and since it's already "silver', painting won't help unless you paint the mesh black also.

although i didn't do it for looks per se? i like the look and since i kill bugs fast ( you shoulda seen last spring at dusk! thousands of flying bugs up here! ), and i want/need my rads as free of debris as they can possibly be. even with screens, which i view as a "must have", i'm still scraping bug debris often. again.. form, following function.

There is a rubber bushing where the temp sensor came out from. I just pushed it in, and it sits there pretty comfortable. Other thoughts, would be to zip tie it closer to the crash bar. The sides that peek out through the grilles right now. I do agree its a well built product!
