Welcome to Parade
Jack: Missed seeing you on the three days I spent there last
weekend & Monday. But was able to meet up with Steve &
Sherry with their 'Racing Yellow' gt4!

The boys that show up at Issaquah Cafe on Sunday tell me
you rarely go anymore. What's happening to you, brother!
Even I religiously show up in Issaquah whenever we are visiting
my Sister-in-Law in West Seattle!

And what a great showing on your 'First'! Donavan's 981 Spyder
placed 'First in Class' in Preparation PP14F:
Congrats Donovan! We need a shot of the trophy next to the car!
Thanks Guys!
I got the trophy late... had to wait until the Group judging was done... so I missed the awards parade and didn't get my trophy until the next day. I will take one tomorrow in front of the PCA Parade sign at the hotel.
Yes - congrats Donovan! The Spyder looked AWESOME. And you had some stiff competition - the White on Classic Red/Black was a head turner as well. So your win was well won (proper English?).

In all transparency, I was the only one in my class. Everyone entered in Street and Touring. I think the Full Preparation class scares people, which I understand why... it's a ton more work. So I won by default, but I did score 243.8 out of 245! So pretty damn good for my first Concours.
I ran a 10K on Catalina a few years back and at the awards banquet afterwards I almost fell out of my chair when they said I placed first in my age group. And then I came to find out I was the only entrant in my age group. So, yeah, I've been there. Still a great accomplishment
Just had a visit here in Colorado from Steve & Sherry F.
of San Antonio's 'Long Horn Region' as they slowly worked
themselves back to Texas after attending the PCA Parade
in Spokane! They are the lucky owners of 2 (two) 'Racing
Yellow' gt4's & drove with one of them from their home in
Austin to the PCA Parade in Washington State!
They are the original owners of the MY2012 987 Spyder in
'Speed Yellow', one of only four 987 PTS Spyders known to
exist at least in North America if not the world! Here is a
photo of it I took at the 2012 Parade in Utah when Steve
owned it!

Steve is an Air Force Academy (Colorado Springs) graduate
& a former F4 Phantom fighter pilot!
But in spite of that, his favorite color not Wild Yonder 'Blue'
but 'Yellow'! Go figure!
Saludos,
Eduardo

PS Jack (also a Longhorn Region Member) is an Air Force veteran & former F4 Phantom
fighter pilot. But notice his 987 Spyder is 'Blue'!
