Finally got the offending T out last night. What a PITA! I was laying across the engine bay trying to get this fvcker out! Ugh! Re-assembly begins tonight.

The remote clamps were the most helpful tool for me when doing the T. Picked it up from local auto store (Advanced Auto). I basically sat on top of the engine to reach back there. Lot's of scrapes and cuts, but wanted the peace of mind when doing my coolant pipes. Glad i did the Ts!

Yep, remote clamp pliers were helpful, so far. Should also help when re-installing later tonight. Knuckles hurt today. Especially the one on my middle finger.

Completed the "Bypass surgery" last night. That lower one by the driver-side head is a PITA! But I got it and all the other on. I put the Two T-s in as a single unit. Lots of swearing.
Pelican parts messed up my order, so I'm still waiting on a replacement coolant vent line - supposed to be here today. Once that's in, I can re-assemble things and hopefully all will be right with the world once again.

Oh... and I like to drink beer which has been shown to slow progress sometimes.
Here's where things stand as of last night.

AH, I look forward to the update on how many beers the project took to complete. Good luck getting the intake back on. Don't forget to check out that little vacuum tee in the back!

Well I finished the deed yesterday and no leaks, and the car seems to run perfectly! All told, I think this took me between 12-15 beers/hours to complete. If I had to do it again, it would still be close 8 to 10, but this has to be one of the worst repairs I've ever had to do on ANY car.
I went to take my wife out for a date last night and as we were getting ready to leave, I noticed a screw in one of the tires... Really?

Yes, Actually it was THAT bad. One of the worst jobs I've ever had to do on any car. The reason for it being so bad is primarily due to the lack of access to the area. If it was more accessible, then well... it wouldn't have been so bad.
I'm not afraid to work on cars, but this is not a typical DIY repair IMO. Sure, it CAN be done by just about anyone, but the level of teardown required to get at the offending Tee's (blindly nonetheless) is beyond most people, I think. I've done complete motor swaps and rebuilds, so I felt comfortable doing it, but for someone who has only done brake jobs and the like, I would tell them to suck it up and pay someone else to do it.
Individual results may vary. Past performance in not an indicator of future returns.
