Default 996 mufflers, all the same?

As the title states are all the 996 (.1 and .2) non PSE factory mufflers the same?
Are the brackets and hangers the same as well?

I have an 02 C4S and am looking for a set of mufflers and hangers.

Thanks

Go here and you'll see that C4S has a different part number.

Not sure why the different part #. I thought the only difference was the separate, longer, tailpipe on C4S.
Try FD Motorsports. They are known for a very popular modification to stock mufflers.

you need to see what that option 660 is, I was told by the parts dept all 996 3.6 from 02 to 04 had the same mufflers, just different tailpipes

Is that true for GT3 (L&R) 996, (not center tip) same as C2?
They look identical.

Yeah they all do look the same. Still doesn't seem like there is a consensus yet.

Not sure I'd depend on the forum for a "consensus" - best to check with the parts guys at a dealer.

If you find out they are the same, I have a used set of mufflers on stock brackets available from a 2000 C4.

PM me if interested.

Yes
I bought a set of lightly used GT3 mufflers, sent them to FD for modification
and was about to to install them on my AE C2

I changed my mind and went aftermarket when a set of Tubi mufflers became
available

The modified GT mufflers (while Fisterized) are now doing duty on clubracer6's
AE car

pre-mod

returned from FD

side by side C2 (AE) OEM's
