First, let me introduce myself (Wes), new member, first post. I am retiring in 2 months and have decided that my gift to myself will be a 911 S CAB. I have owned a few other collectable cars in my past and have found these forums extremely helpful when making that first purchase.
Second, I am having a hard time figuring out what a reasonable price for the car is, but have found one that seems to be a fair deal. The details are below, but any thoughts are greatly appreciated as all of the tools that I am using to price (KBB, Edmunds, etc...) are giving me pretty broad ranges. I can post pics if needed, but the car is clean...there are a few nicks in the leather seats, but the car is also 6 years old.

Thanks Doug H for the recommendation about pulling the carfax...if I decide to pass on the car I will put the dealership info up if anyone is interested.
No accidents, and pretty solid maintenance record...I will probably have a PPI done at the local Porsche dealership as well.

Just FYI: Here's the original pricing/option info on that car. I struck out the VIN since you didn't post it. I hope you don't mind I hunted it down to get this for you
That is it, pretty good detective work...the ONLY thing that I can really find that is wrong with the car is the front bumper is scratched, there are some picks in the seat bolsters, and there is a rattle in the drivers door. The rattle is the only thing that REMOTELY concerns me...
I had a Jeep Rubicon, had a door rattle...took 2 years to fix...then again, it was a Jeep dealership that wasn't really known for their customer service.
I think I just need to decide whether or not to pull the trigger...this discussion is pretty helpful. At least no one has scream "too much"...
Next thing to do is take it and have a PPI done...
From what ive found is that if you are looking for a specific 997, in a specific trim with MT or PDK and you find one......get a PPI and buy it. So if you are looking for a White/Black 997.2 with full leather, the price is in the ball park as long as it passes a PPI.
Very similarly optioned to my wife's 2010 C2 cabriolet. Basically the same, but she has ventilated seats and her car came based wheels that we replaced.
The ventilated seats are really nice to have in a cabriolet. White also looks good on cabriolet, specially with the Turbo II wheels.
That's just a couple Ben Franklin's less than what I paid for my 997.2, a 2010 C2 PDK coupe in 3/16 with 16,000 miles. Your build sheet has about $10K more options than mine. Enjoy! PS: I also just retired!
We were looking for a very specific car. White/beige cab w/ auto and low mileage. Took 6 months after we let the first one get away. Paid too much, but the GF is happy. And it was her money.
