5 Best Roads to Drive in Your 911 This Summer

Well lucky me - I've been on all of these roads multiple times (except Mt. WIlson), as I live on the west side of L.A. I think my favorite is Tuna Canyon - just watch out for skate boarders on some parts of the hill recording themselves - they like to choose blind corners for some reason.
Avoid Mullholland Drive - too many police, too many cars, too many idiots.
I wouldn't mind a more inclusive list of SoCal. I guess the little Porsche App GTS Routes is good for that.

Highway 4 - Ebbetts Pass Scenic By-way, Angels Camp, CA . I driven it in a 991.1 4S, Ferrari 458, and a SAAB Viggen. What a blast I must say, that at altitude, V-8 or Turbo cars do better. The 991.1 4S was kinda weak on the acceleration coming out of the corners. The most thrilling ride was with the Viggen. Partially because it was so nimble, light, and had plenty of reserve power. The Ferrari, well, there is the whole thing about wrecking a $250K+ car....so I ended up driving it like a Tourer rather than for what it was. The 991.1 just seemed underpowered. While I had fun with the 991, I wasn't impressed. I think it was the altitude.
