Surprised he didn't talk more about the difference with the GT3 engine vs the R.. you can definitely hear the difference between the two at higher revs.

The new darker steering wheel goes particularly well with carbon fiber trim, IMHO.

I thought it was a fairly useless review. Puttering around on a few wet roads for a little while. He thinks both cars are great, but likes the R slightly more, while noting that it may have something to do with the particular roads he was on. Thinks it makes perfect sense to get PDK, but he slightly prefers manual for the road.

That first picture is chalk right? With enough black accents like the wheels and maybe even the door handles, that looks really good. Not quite Sport Classic grey good, but as close as non-PTS will get.

I've finally seen the xenon's, and it's so disappointing how much silver there is inside that headlight housing.. I like the pattern more than LED, and I can't stomach the $2900 black LED price, but that may have to be the choice after all.. this car needs all black headlights IMO, and after seeing the xenon version more it just won't cut it. Maddening actually, when on the .1 version there were perfect black xenon's available and now it's a $2900 upcharge. Total BS.

Yes it is chalk and looks good under certain light conditions... Black LEDs are expensive but I thought they do go well the new gt3 given all black accents everywhere. Also I thought black xenons were 700 bucks option and black LEDs were 2900?

Thanks for the pics. I'm actually pretty glad I didn't get white this time around.

Did you see them side by side on .2 GT3s? And were those Xenons with PDLS?

I have the same struggle as you as I think the blacker the headlights the better on the .2 GT3, yet I also prefer the xenon light pattern to the LED. Also don't want to spend $2900 unless necessary, particularly as the LEDs add 10lbs of weight and no better brightness on high-beams (in the US).

I gotta see two .2 GT3s at the same time, one with xenons and PDLS and one with LEDs in black before I can decide.
