It was an incredible battle!

1966 LeMANS winning GT40

They don't make cars like that anymore.....

I recall reading that issue of MotorSport last year--alas, no Audi this year.......

...but guess what? The racing was simply awesome anyway!!! Great to see Indycar stars like Dixon and Kanaan participating too.......and to see and hear a LeMans legend like Jacky Ickx was great.

I wonder if Porsche will go back into hiatus after this season. The race in Austin just made it on the 'to do' list.

Amazing that many of these cars will be at the Glen in 2 weeks--I'll be pretending I'm one of them while I'm there the next two days
