My driving coach for the Porsche Driving Experience-Atlanta showed me on his cell phone an app called Porsche GTS which showed desirable Porsche roads within certain distances. Since I don't own or use a cell phone, i can't say whether there are caps or spaces or whatever - hell, I barely even know what an app is! He spoke highly of it.

Twisted Sisters in TX Hill Country: http://www.ridetexas.com/the-twisted-sisters/
Did Route Napoleon N85 in 2009 after doing euro delivery: excellent. And nice then to spend rest of week in Provence driving along coast and as well to hilltop villages.

I just drove Mines Road today for the first time. I thought it was pretty good, although the road quality is typical "California rough" and varies as the road crosses counties. Aside, my fantasy drive would be I-280 from Cupertino to Daly City, all to myself at high speed...

Just did a weekend trip up to Calistoga, CA. There were a few other 991 GTSs and some .2s driving around St. Helena. I usually take 29 right through Napa, Yountville and Rutherford to get up there but was diverted to the Silverado Trail. Silverado was a much better drive than 29. Highly recommended on a nice sunny day.

The population density of England makes it hard to have long routes that don't get spoiled by traffic, but Snakes Pass and the other B roads of Derbyshire's Peak District (where I live) are great. Likewise the Lake District has some amazing scenery and winding roads. But the real fun is in Wales and Scotland where there's far fewer people and some incredible, wild scenery.
Scotland: The North Coast 500, a touring route that bikers and then car enthusiasts realised has some of the best roads anywhere. You just need luck with the weather
Wales: I've driven North to South along the coast, when it's quiet of traffic it can be stunning and challenging, not tried inland, as for exact routes, the TG guys know their stuff
