as i said, you can do the mooty diet.
only 2 rules
1. eat faster than brain can register
2. eat only sugar. protein, carb... whatever, they dont work. just sugar. burns fast. lots energy. and a little crazy... just look at me.

WOW, this is awesome, so many riders. I do the century ride every weekend but mine has the funny kms behind it . Actually, I try and do 125 kms (77 miles) one day, every weekend, with an average speed of 27.5 kms/hr (17mph) Problem is I'm slowing down due to a thing called age. Will be 60 next year. Oh by the way, I now tip the scales at 126, that's lbs not kilos. Do we have any seniors riding on here?

Impressive. You are my role model. I get down to mid 150lbs range in season (not there yet). I am 5ft 8.5 if that gives you any perspective. What do you ride?

I'm curious why. Have you ridden one? It has top grade componentry (Shimano XTR) and earns a positive review from The Guardian. Um, I bought one at a steeply discounted price (the components alone are worth the price I paid). I plan to take a one day 200mi trip on it this summer.

Isn't pretty much everyone using 1X drivetrains now? I'm pretty sure even my roadie friends have 1X. Also, that guardian describes that as an off-roader, which it clearly isn't.

5' - 6" with small build.
Mine's a couple years old. Ride a Trek 6.9 Madone, added some CF wheels. It does me fine for now, get out 3 times/week. Looking to get into something new again, in the next two years. Any suggestions along with experience, anyone?
