Nice pics. It's amazing what that place has turned into since we first stared going there in the early 1990s. Maybe the term tourist trap is too harsh, but I liked it better when it was under the radar. Still a good road, just too crowded now.
We drove it Wednesday and it was not crowded at all. Enjoyed the Cherohala and the Devil's Triangle was outstanding.
Nope, just passing by and wanted to see the place. I understand that Chin Motorsports puts on frequent driving schools there but didn't fit my schedule. I was impressed with the winners-flags-years which don't show up in my photo. Porsche had a real nice streak going there in the '70s and '80s.

The garages are cool with the year and the manufacturer that won. There's tons of history at that track. It's not the easiest track to drive, but it's extremely rewarding and tons of fun. I drive there with NASA. NASA has a 2-day event there. I drive up on Friday from Boca Raton and stay at the Hotel Chateau Elan at the track Friday and Saturday nights. The whole scene and vibe is incredible and everyone except for the same two douchebags is nice. No joke: one of them referred to himself as a world champion as he described why we should take turn 17 "his" way. Never driven with Chin. Your car looks great in the picture.
