Beautiful shot. I was born and raised in PA and even did business in gettysburg but have never been to the battlefield. One of these days I'll get there.

Did you go via Rt 15 on the VA side? There used to be a guy that sold ribs on the right side of the road before the Potomac river bridge into MD. I thought about taking a ride to there yesterday just to see if he was there but instead took a trip around the countryside of Middleburg.

I took my 10 year old son with me up there on Saturday, hence the rain.

Gettysburg has a fairly new museum, replacing the old visitor's center. It's probably been around for a few years now but it is really, really well done. (I am a historian in my spare time.) I figured with the rain it would keep the tourists down anyways and we had much of the museum and the park without the huge crowds on a normal, nicer spring day.

Fun drive up there - yes, I took Rt 15 the entire way. I don't know of the ribs-selling guy near Point of Rocks but there is a nice ice cream shop not that far away...

Always like the two tone sport techno rims. plus they are easy to clean. My first porsche had to be white.

Here's a pic my son took the night we brought her home. The weather is breaking in Chicago and I'm really enjoying this car.

My black and white 911 against the bw backdrop of night. Cool!

On the way home northbound from Flagstaff, AZ. Stopped at Sunset Crater National Monument, location of dozens of recent volcanoes and lava flows.
