I followed Jackals my first time too. Since then I've done plugs 4 times. Easiest way was to drop the side tin and you'll have all the access you need.

Here's a pic of the passenger side. With the clutch vent pipe and side tin removed, tons of access to the #6 plug

The Rs wheel is a perfect!!! Love those Tramonts, damn they look good on fly yellow.
