Great write up. A great laundry list for anyone considering a 993.
That drivers side front most plug can be a real PITA if you don't pull the engine. Almost every 993 I've owned that one was never replaced but with some patience, articulating wrenches and some disassembly (and band aids) you can do it.
Have fun putting some miles on it this summer. Just like the desert.....that car is CLEAN!

I used an assortment of brushes/swabs, lots of elbow grease, and WD40
