Default Bi Xenon change to PDLS...

I know there is a ton of wisdom out there...

Does anybody know if a 991 (GT Car) that has standard Bi-Xenon headlights can be changed to LED PDLS?

Answer will be much appreciated!!!

Why the desire to change ?
I just finalized my build and spected the standard Bi Xeon headlights. I like the all silver housing to match the silver wheels.

I believe you're right due to lack of proper wiring harness.

Also the control module for each version. Very different.

I like the way the active lights articulate when turning corners. Have had them on a couple of other vehicles and they're nice! Definitely gives more visibility. Also, I'm pretty sure you can get the LED PDLS in both clear AND black.

I had LED with PDLS on my 15 GT3, I enjoyed the setup. My new GT3 will be Viper Green with silver wheels and feel the standard BI Xeon will match better. I also need to cut a few options and didn’t feel the lights were worth the price. Also W/O PDLS there is no nipple that I would have to match to the exterior color, another cost option. I save almost 3K sticking with standard headlights.

Looking forward to seeing the viper green gt3! I agree the pdls is a bit spends. When does the new gt3 show?

You won't be able to upgrade from Bi-Xenon to LED headlights without changing out lots of wiring, headlight control module, PDLS plus camera sensor, and more (as well as reprogramming). Its done before but for the US it is not worth it.

I'm not sure if this is the same case in every country, since PAG have done some funky stuffs before. But in the US, and most other countries, even standard Bi-Xenon with NO PDLS still come with the headlight washer nipple. Just look at all the 911R and GT3 RS with no PDLS.

Regardless of Standard bi-xeon or PDLS, you will ge the nipples on the GT3s; although that is NOT the case with GT4s.

Looks like 991.2 nipples are black as standard, not the chrome plastic.

Can you swap Xennon PDLS for Standard Xennon >?
I have PDLS in BLACK on my .2 GT3 coming and would prefer Silver back ground. I am in Australia happy to swap my black to silver if anyone interested
?
