Did you go via Rt 15 on the VA side? There used to be a guy that sold ribs on the right side of the road before the Potomac river bridge into MD. I thought about taking a ride to there yesterday just to see if he was there but instead took a trip around the countryside of Middleburg.

I took my 10 year old son with me up there on Saturday, hence the rain.
Gettysburg has a fairly new museum, replacing the old visitor's center. It's probably been around for a few years now but it is really, really well done. (I am a historian in my spare time.) I figured with the rain it would keep the tourists down anyways and we had much of the museum and the park without the huge crowds on a normal, nicer spring day.
Fun drive up there - yes, I took Rt 15 the entire way. I don't know of the ribs-selling guy near Point of Rocks but there is a nice ice cream shop not that far away...
