Default 15in Phone dials

I have a set of 15in 928 wheels I am cleaning up to restore.
Only doing it cause they came on the car new. Has anyone seen a good photo of the 15in wheels? Has anyone ever tried to keep the 15 before? Every photo I find is on a beet up car.

I may just have to find some 16in and keep the 15 just cause.

They are painted silver just like the 16 inch rims but they are flat and don't look nearly as pretty as the 16 inch rims do.

That is the #1 reason people swap them out aside from larger performance tire availability.

I guess Ill put some tires on and see how they look. I can find photos, they look OK on some cars and look bad on others. Good for road trip with lots of pot holes.

Those should make excellent cruisers. more cushion. BTW, wish you guys would stop calling 17s and 18s BIGGER tires. they are smaller (less actual tire at the same width)

I just picked up a decent set of 15s for $100. Theyve got to be good for something...

Are we on a soap box? Not sure I read anyone talking of bigger tires.

Now they are worth their weight in Gold.

Going back on with new tires. Painted the rims and centers. The rims had some big scuffs ( PO wife ) but I got most out but a few.

tiRes this week and I'll have the 15s back on.

Default A proper period look

The 15" is a good proper period look, and I think it is best on the OBs. I think it might look silly on S4s.
