I spec'd out the costs to add it to the car but after doing the math it just wasn't worth it. I ended up trading the car for a new one with full leather (and a manual). Super happy with that decision.
Good luck!

Suncoast or Sunset Porsche. I have 'em, too. They are great.
Now in 3 colors, when I bought back in 2014 only black was available:

You can also check with one of the salvage places like LADismantler.com (a sponsor) and others to see if they have any undamaged leather parts you'd like at a discount.
I considered this on my first 911 that didn't have leather but worried about introducing rattles or other problems since dash removal isn't that trivial. I decided the risk wasn't worth it. I mostly forgot about it after a while.

Where was the photo taken? It looks like Schweiz. It reminded me of the walks I used to take along the Aare in the evening after work. I miss it.

Interior Upgrade
Just came back from European delivery of my 991.2 and long await begins for stateside delivery. Fantastic trip across Germany, Austria, Switzerland over two weeks.
My current car is a V10 M5 which I am still not sure about selling. Very happy w my config of base carrera - had to work within my car allowance budget so couldn't get my dream GTS kitted way I want.
Anyway, only disappointment is not being able to fit leather interior - can it retrofitted? Dash and door.. just curious if anyone has ever done one?

Is it possible to wrap the rear deck (the large carpeted area) in leather or leather looking material to almost match the front dash (with the extended leather option)?
Has anyone seen this done?
