I have a V1 (with the latest update) hardwired to the fuse box and run Waze. The combo works great.

Yes, but I did the install myself. For the V1 I used a mirror tap and blend mount. The fellow radar nerds have plenty of testing on both (and others), check out the radar forums. I tried the Escort 360 but it had a delay compared to the V1.

+1 but I just try to avoid them regardless. P cars get their attention around here even at the posted limits.

Use latest V1 hardwired to fuse box. Useful for secondary roads although Cadillac and Volvo driver aids still cause false alarms. I've seen Waze in action and sure it works well but I can't be bothered. Still find a good set of eyes, brains, and intuition work best on the highway.

I have a Max360 hardwired with wiretap and mounted with BlendMount in addition to ALP 5-point laser jammers. One of my empty console buttons is wired to mute the Max360 and another button is wired to kill the jammers and shut off power to both.

Can't imagine a better setup honestly unless you just get rid of the in-car radar detector all together.

+1 on the ALP, they work. I had them on my prior M4. Only downside was they continued to jam laser and I was forced to have a switch to kill the jammer. Maybe they have changed in the last year. The Stinger will allow you to set the jammer to stop after 3, 4, 5 seconds. Which is is pretty cool.

I like having to do it manually. 3-4-5 seconds is way too long in most cases and the goal is to get down to PSL quickly enough where the LEO just assumes he had a brief equipment malfunction and doesn't want to investigate further. ALP does let you set it to auto but even their times are too long according to those who have tried it at RDForum.org.

Even using a RD, nothing beats following someone at a safe distance, letting them clear the range. Always a Mustang or Corvette driver around who doesn't want to be behind a Porsche.

order some fuse taps, going to go this route to keep it simple. for those who put the fuse taps in the passenger footwell, do you recall which fuse slot# if switched so it powers off when car is turned off?

it should say in the thread I quoted...my car is in the shop getting new Girodiscs and Ferodo ds 1.11 and some SRF for track season, so I can't check for you now.

yes, it powers OFF with the ignition switch so won't drain battery.

ZOOMING in, it looks like you plug into slots 2 and 3 and leave 4 blank in bottom row.
