I have the same exact APR Carbon Universal Mirrors. Was going to install them in the same position too! Now i have the time to work on the install and cant find them in my storage. LOL, looks great!

But I don't think it will be too bad. They're smaller than stock but have slightly convex lenses for a wider field of view.
Convex is the only thing that keeps my pass side one working. I don't understand how Porsche nailed it so well with the flags...

Some cars (GT40 perhaps) in some configurations have one mirror forward on fender & on near door. Looks funky. Do you have a link to your mirror supplier?

Sure thing:
Amazon Amazon

Looks like the price has gone up on Amazon, but they're available elsewhere too.

I use these same mirrors on mine too. I cut a small metal plate using the gasket as a template, then reused the gasket to cover the other holes. They're great little mirrors. Super light and great rearward visibility with the slight convex shape.

Hmmm.... Okay! I'm convinced! They seem like the best all around functioning mirror.

Justin, I like the silver stripes on your car, did you add those?

The car came with a black hood, but yellow with silver stripes everywhere else. When I changed up some of the aero I repainted the header panel, hood, and fiberglass rear bumper with matching stripes.

the stock flag mirrors aren't perfect mirror image of each other from side to side. The passenger side mirror mount has a bit of an angle to it and is slightly closer to the door. They look the same at a glance until you have a closer look. The difference is the same for RHD cars too, just opposite.

I'm just going to take these off my desktop & place them here. These are photos that I will reference to build the wing & rear diffuser. Nice cars.

Like driving an inboard!

For aerodynamic reasons, go wide. http://pitstopusa.com/i-8583085-joes...kit-1-3-4.html

Taking serious consideration of this little gem for aero specifically for front end & rear diffuser.

After this we won't be able to call him a 944 . He'll be a "Noah Wilson Turbo". One of the few Canadian car makers!!! Lol
