Hi. I have been lurking for a while and waiting for an opportunity to own a 997 TT. I think I have managed to find a decent example, and I am waiting on delivery next week. The car spent most of it's life in the southwest and even though it has had 4 title changes, it looks like only 2 real previous owners.
I have been doing a ton of reading and collecting various posts on these machines and have compiled what I think to be the main items to put on my to do list. I come from a VW/Audi background and have been wrenching for some time, including a full engine rebuild of my 95.5 UrS6. I believe here and 6SpeedOnline appear to be good resources for these vehicles and there appears to be very knowledgeable enthusiasts willing to offer their experiences.
Ever since I took my driver's test in my dad's '74 911T and drove his cars through an SC model, I have wanted to own one of my own. It has taken a very long time (about 30 years) but I am hopeful the wait has been worth it. I keep my cars forever (335K on my Coupe Quattro, 22 years of ownership on my UrS) and I am looking toward a long and satisfying experience with this 911.
Once I have it in my hands I will post my initial impressions, but I wanted to introduce myself to get things started. i will try and always research my questions before asking anything you guys may have answered a thousand times before and I will try and be a responsible poster.

Was this one for sale in PA and then moved to FL? I wanted to look at it when it was in PA - the body kit looks awesome
Carfax says Nevada & Texas, then titled in PA but sold from a re-seller near Chicago. There were 110 miles put on it from the last preinspection service in Texas until that last title event. While it may have been offered in FL, the title history doesn't tell me that.
