I love the interior and the powder coated intakes. Completely updated and is a turn key car from one of the most trusted and well respected 928 owner/mechanic. Put some Carrere IIIs 18" wheels on it and the car will fly! GLWS Stan!

From one of our top gun here...
At a very good price also.
Good luck with the sale Stan.
Should not last long.
This sale reminds me one Dwayne's car that one of our member (Hoy?) bought recently.
Sales like that are rare opportunities to own a car that has been taking care by some of the very best owners/mechanics here on Rennlist.
Who will be the lucky winner?

A potential deferred item with the black '88 is fuel lines: it's got FI clamps on hose bits and we know how that discussion went.

I just wish the wheels weren't black which is a lot easier to change. Would love to see the worst "before Stan" pics...sounds like it was rough.

Just got some extra info on the car from the seller. Located in Eastham, MA (Cape Cod). No affiliation...
" It is not a mint car, but price is quite negotiable. Most issues are cosmetic or minor from my limited knowledge. For example, door panel a bit loose, door lock is a bit temperamental, a few very small rust spots, etc. recent fixes we did include alternator, o ring and thermostat, window motors, compression test which I believe was good (I'll ask business partner) etc. so if you ever want to take a look, let me know. It's parked at our store in Eastham with a for sale sign starting this morning."

I spoke to the seller yesterday. Odometer is fully functioning. This is a genuine 35k car in excellent cosmetic condition as mileage and prior owner paperwork would indicate. Seller has had it since 2002 at his vacation home and hardly drives it more than a few miles a couple of times a year. Everything works on it, and no leaks. However, unknown when timing belt was last serviced, and tires are probably from before he bought it. At minimum, I'd do timing belt water pump service, new tires, and flush most of fluids since all that stuff is probably 15 years old at least. Cannot get wife on board with this one unfortunately until I sell my Mach 1. Seller said I was the 7th call he's had on it, but no one has looked yet. It's been for sale for almost a month. Window sticker indicates the following options: automatic trans, all leather interior, digital radio, pressure cast alloy wheels 16", anti-theft device for wheels, amplifer system, electric sliding roof. MSRP was $44,920.00

Hope someone here jumps on this one. For the price and appearance, you can't go wrong.
