Default Thoughts on this color combination?

New to forum and looking to purchase a 996. Went to look at car in link below and was surprised at how yellow the interior, especially the dash were. Thoughts? Anyone have same color? Shows to be Savanna Beige on build sheet.

Not a fan of Savanna Beige, mainly because it's tough to keep it looking good. It just starts looking worn or dingy easily. That being said, adding some black or carbon fiber parts to break up the yellow can really make a big difference. Swap for a black black steering wheel looks good especially because a steering wheel is high wear item.

Rrtex, a car like a 911 with a steeply raked windshield should never have a beige dash. When driving into the sun the light-colored dash will throw up huge reflections to the inside of the windshield, it will drive you crazy. Serious sports cars always have a black dash with a mat finish to prevent this.

I've got a Savanna Beige dash... I've never been bothered by reflections... I also read this "reflection theory" in an article somewhere recently (maybe Stuttcars 996 history) - just seemed like another "fried egg" type of comment to me...

I had a blue Boxster S with the same interior as this. Never had any concerns or issues about wear or reflections.

Black is safe, but black is also boring. I have a triple black car now and like it, but I wouldn't be too shy about this interior. It's not like it's "lobster," which was an interior color they used in the 80's on these 911s. There's plenty worse interior colors out there.

Default My '99 black C2 with SB interior.

I did add a black 3 spoke steering wheel. For an 18 year old Porsche I think the interior has held up just fine.
