Default OT: I drove my GT3 yesterday

Yesterday the wife and I cruised up to Estes Park, including visiting the Stanley Hotel, which Stephen King based "The Shining" on. The weather was perfect, averaging 65 to 73 degrees, with plenty of sun and mostly sparse traffic. Here are some pics.

Great pics Rob. Thank you for sharing. We had 4" of snow here 2 days ago, but mostly all melted now.

Thanks Bronson. We had a foot of snow last week.

So you going to be able to get out driving soon?

With all the consternation about allocations, what is being lost is that for most of us we probably could not tell the difference between driving the .1GT3 and the .2. This is all in our head that we need the latest and greatest to assuage our egos.

BTW, on the drive yesterday I got stuck behind someone going 5 mph below the speed limit. We come around a curve and I have a chance to legally pass them. Right as I go full **** on the GT3 and fly by the guy I see 2 cops on the side of the road dealing with something else. I literally buzzed the tower.

The look I got from them.

Or...for how we use these cars, 99% of the available performance never gets used regardless. Because doing so lands you in jail.

Spent last couple of days breaking mine in with the fine folks from Chin at Barber Motorsports Park. Also drove it to and from the event - no trailer for me! Miles, miles, miles. Glorious machines.
