Porsche 6 piston YELLOW Mono Block Brake Kit with 380mm Girodisc Rotors
I have been waiting for almost a year for these rotors. Today I went up to Girodisc to pick up the first set of drop in 380mm rotors. Real quick these rotors weigh less than the factory 350mm steel rotors.
Porsche has manufactured new Yellow 6 piston monoblocks to fit these massive 380mm rotors. One can look at the 997TT with PCCB's and better yet test drive one to see how well these binder work.. The Girodisc rotor are as close to a direct copy of the 380mm PCCB rotors with features that include 72 cooling vanes (same as the factory PCCB's). The aluminum anodized hats are made for the Turbo 996TT and 997TT offset.
Pricing for this kit $7,295.00 which includes Porsche 6 Piston Yellow Monoblocks calipers for the front and matching Yellow Monoblock on the rear. Girodisc 380mm full floating rotor up front and 350mm full floating rears (please note that the rears retain the factory E Brake).. Factory caliper adapters to fit the turbo uprights are included including the caliper mounting bolts.
Pads are not included due to the various options.
Please Note: For those that have the factory PCCB's on your 997TT, we now have steel rotors available for the track or street. The Girodisc rotors are drop in rotors. Pricing for the new Girodisc rotors complete as shown is $1,600 pair fronts, and $1,200 pair rear.

Burning Brakes
what do you mean Porsche has manufactured new calipers to accept these rotors. I'm a little confused by your comments.
Also there have been PCCB drop in replacements on the market for some time now, Girodisc being one of the few.

This thread was intended for both the 997TT and 996TT. The calipers for the non PCCB cars are different in size, and color vs 997TT PCCB calipers. Owners with 996TT standard Reds, 996TT PCCB Yellows and 997TT Reds will and can benefit>especially if they track there cars. There are very few options for 380mm PCCB drop in for the 997TT. The Girodisc rotor that is pictured is brand new, new design and new casting.
I use the term New, because it is a different caliper casting all previous calipers could bolt up to any 996TT, 997TT suspension upright. The 997TT, 997.2TT with PCCB calipers require adapters to mount to the 996TT and 997TT uprights to fit the larger calipers.
While my 997TT has great brakes.. I'm swapping out my big reds for the larger 6 Piston Monoblocks and 380mm Girodisc. Spending 20K for factory PCCB rotors is just not in the cards for me..
Years ago, I put together a brake kit for the 996TT which featured the Yellow 6 piston Monoblocks and 350mm rotors. And while the price was expensive people wanted the larger factory brakes. This kit raises the bar and increases the options for those that want it.

"They feature red six-piston monobloc aluminium fixed brake calipers at the front and four-piston aluminium monobloc fixed calipers at the rear. The brake disc diameter is 380 mm front and rear."
