Fantasy Camp: If you could spec your 991.2 GT3 hypothetically any way you wanted....
...How would you do it?
I'm serious (yet hypothetical)... any PTS, or even interior CXX transformation combo.. what would look good?
like... sport classic grey with maybe a black interior with blue stitching with blue seats, matching dark blue wheels?
or black/blue interior?
with black/blue pepita
Or Signal Yellow with yellow stitching and matching yellow wheels..
or just black wheels
maybe a Gulf blue with orange wheels... (ignore stripes)
some version of dark green with the black treatment
maybe yellowgreen with matching interior stitching
a dark blue with dark brown interior
My current personal favorite currently is some kind of blue interior with red stitching, and maybe carmine exterior, or sport classic grey exterior?.. red wheels?
what, is a unique yet tasteful combo for a gt3, if Porsche allowed you to fulfill any wish?

First I would take the 991 and stuff it in the Xerox machine and reduce the size by 8% so it's the same scale as a 997. Would weigh like 2750# on that basis. Would paint it Albert Blue and do the interior in Cocoa with the folding carbon chairs. It would have Burmeister to overcome the fact that I would ask the CXX gnomes to delete excess sound and rust proofing.

The other color that I think might look wicked is Arena Red, a color until recently I only saw on Cabs with beige interiors and always thought was more of a luxo look. But that Arena Red Targa 4S with platinum satin wheels and black interior in the classifieds may have changed my mind. It looks awesome and very racy.
Signal yellow is awesome too, but even good yellows are an acquired taste I think.

my latest thrill, and the one I realize has been in the back of my mind for a long time.. is the socially forbidden "mcdonalds" color scheme. Yes, i'm talking yellow and red combo.. but not just any yellow, Signal Yellow. Thanks to Mooty's car, I realized that Signal Yellow is truly "Mango", and that red brakes with black wheels are actually a beautiful racy combo. My inspiration is this car
What are the chances of Porsche allowing CXX special request chrome/metal color window trim like on 50th anniversary? (I'm thinking close to zero but you never know)
imagine this color scheme transposed onto the 991.2 gt3, with red PORSCHE script along the bottom, and black interior with red deviating stitching, seat belts etc. The question is whether to go with the red pinstripe wheel option which porsche offers to match the brake calipers, and maybe do red wing tips, OR to allow the exterior to look just black and yellow, and keep as much red as possible on the inside with black wingtips and black wheels (no red pinstripe).
This is beautiful to my eyes.. (missing the red PORSCHE script) and not "mcdonalds".. just.. racecar enough.

Hmmm this is a hard one but this is what I will do:
1. PTS Liquid Metal Silver
2. CXX 911 R Carbon Hood
3. CXX 911 R Magnesium Roof
4. CXX Wing delete
5. CXX 991.1 taillight
6. CXX rear camera and PCM delete
7. CXX carbon trim with 911R badge, (#911)
8. CXX single mass fly wheel
9. CXX lower rev limit to 8500.
I think that's about it.

>Black or Voodoo Blue exterior, I like both equally.
>Giallo Fly calipers with quick-change pad facility on PCCB.
>Giallo Fly model designation rear badge.
>Brand designation rear badge delete.
>Giallo Fly stitching over full alcantara/leather interior.
>Single Giallo Fly fiber strand in each piece of interior CF, each aligned equidistant from respective top and right edges.
>CF bonnet, rear deck, functional and manually adjustable rear wing and diffuser.
>Exterior black plastic pieces replaced with CF painted in body colour.
>Giallo Fly gauge needles over black faces with white numerals.
>Custom measured seats with manual bolster and lumbar adjustment, CF shell.
>Integrated cage with 6-point harnesses and cameras or at least mounts.
>Properly integrated and invisible dual function cameras for recording and parking aid working with properly integrated data acquisition system, with download linkage.
>Lightweight forged factory wheels.
>Factory designed adjustable end links, camber and caster adjustment, and therefore no silly limitations on "in spec" alignment.
>Manually adjustable dampers, pref 3-way at least.
>Low mass factory exhaust system.
>Factory solution to window-down buffeting at speed.
>Slightly smaller diameter steering wheel with light metal spokes.
