I thought at least the radio delete was standard, but you could add it back in for free.
The single mass flywheel wasn't standard, but an option if I recall correctly?

The real weight difference between the R and 991.2 GT3 manual with same options is going to be the single mass flywheel, carbon fenders and less sound proof materials. That would be 20-30lbs at best.

I know a lot of 991 gt3 rs will read this thread, the q is:
did all of the rs cars have the fire ext placed superweird, so one could not have the floor mats in place????
i hope theyve fixed that problem and wont do it again.

Most of the weight difference is just between things are are optional on the GT3 but standard on the 911R.
On the 911R, PCCBs are standard saving 40lbs and the LWB are standard saving 21 lbs, for a total of 61lbs.
So if you simply choose both those options when ordering a manual .2 GT3, you'll get a car that weighs just 29lbs more than the 911R. So 29lb less weight is the only real weight advantage of the 911 is due to the magnesium roof and CF front fenders, engine lid.
Personally I'd rather have a manual .2 GT3 with a motorsport engine and a lot more downforce, both of which more than make up for the extra 29lbs
I wouldn't buy a 911R over a GT3 if the MSRP/market costs were the same or even if the R was 30% cheaper.
