That MB RS looks great. MB looks better on a car with a Wing and black contrast parts.
This has me thinking but it may not be PTS but charging $4000 plus for the color upgrade so close to PTS

Quick question guys... Chalk is NOT considered PTS, right? It is a "special color" offered on any allocation for $4220 US, correct?
This is my understanding but someone told me it was still PTS.

That's correct. Anyone can order Chalk if they want it. It's an available "special" colour.

MB is $4,220 and I suspect PTS may be increased again to somewhere around $8,000. PTS is $6,960 as it stands now. For the extra $$$ I would get PTS (Maritime Blue) if available, but if it is not I am falling back on MB.

an interesting spec sheet comparison.
-25hp more, 15ft-lb of torque more than 991, same as gt3 just slightly higher in the range at 6250rpm
-fixed valve train, 2 intake tuning flaps, and central oiling which we know about already
-slightly different rear diff settings vs the R.
-991.2 is quite a bit heavier, about 120lb more, (90lb more with the manual)
-hp/lb is actually down
-steel rotors are now same size as pccb (not sure if this is a good thing or not.. did it need heavier bigger brakes?)
-same height as before.. hasn't been lowered, but 0.2 inch less ground clearance measured at rear diffusor
-but... front angle of approached has improved quite a bit from 5.8 to 6.3in as well as breakover has improved slightly (new "do I need a front lift" thread coming up)
-rear suspension has a little helper spring
-engine has

Interesting that Manual GT3 gets a more aggressive LSD than 911R and GT4...

Could the R also be 90lb lighter due to its CF seats being standard vs them being an option on the GT3? Is the listed weight representing the lightest possible optioned car or the standard no-option car?
