Does anyone have a source for the remote micro switch buttons? I looked on mouser but only saw reels of 2700! I need 3.
It's for a 2004 Boxster. Thanks

Has that remote seen water?
There's a lot of corrosion around the top switch in your pic.
Found these options for you :
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_fr...witch&_sacat=0
Clean that board before installing the new switches.
A cotton swab wet with isopropyl alcohol will do.
How's your soldering skills?
You'll need super fine solder (I use 0.020" 63/37) and hit it fast with a fine point tip at 700-800 degrees to avoid melting the new switches.

Thanks for your help. In the end I figured it was just too ugly, so I got new heads from Porsche ( must be platinum) and I am happy, though poorer.

digi-key no longer carries the exact match. But this is one that they carry which is a close match.
C&K KSR253GLFG
The difference is that this one requires less force, and is only guaranteed for half the uses of the original. That's still over 100,000 uses.
