good move mark. i have no idea how he is still in business, and the ironic thing is he USED to get you the product (it may take a while, but you ultimately received it) and was somewhat responsive.
It really is a pitty it has come to this. I bough my tach from him back in May of 2015, no Issues, good communication and overall pretty quick delivery.
Thankfully I got my tach face, before it all unraveled. I suspect he got overwhelmed, could not keep up with the influx of orders, and/or lost his supplier/fabricator. Then he didn't know how to say he was sorry. That's me, extending a lot of credit, which may not be the case. He surely should NOT be allowed to operate anywhere!
PorscheDials/D-Werks is an absolute SCAM. I had the same experience...answered emails immediately to take my money, and then wouldn't respond for months. I ended up filing a PayPal claim...which they never responded to, so I received my money back.
I highly recommend http://www.heiler-tachodesign.de/. They have pre-made color gauges, and can create custom ones as well. Here's the one they made for my car:
what seats are those and where u get the floor mats?
Ed finally delivered and I did subsequently order twice more with positive results. From my recent experience he is legitimate and produces a nice product at a good price. He did say he had some family problems before when the delays were a real concern. I will post pix if it will help with a decision. The process does take about a month turn around.
UPDATE: He screwed over a friend of mine and he tried again with me (after I had purchased and received 4 sets from him). My cc took care of a refund to me, but my friend wasn't able to use a cc ned lost his payment. This is a freaking rip-off site.
Just got put onto this thread. Ordered dials 30 Dec 16... Largely been ignored. Did get an apologetic mail end of feb saying they were coming in a week....
Now nothing all of march. Wrote a stern email 2 nights ago but still no reply....
Crap when this sort of thing happens , and he clearly has a good product and has supplied in the past but now for some reason it aint going on.....
I ordered mine in early October 2016 patiently waited and eventually received the order in early March 2017.
I did chase up the order a few times and Ed did reply with apologies as his wife was ill with an ongoing medical condition and in his own words something went horribly wrong so he had to put a temporary hold on his work. A new surgery means that the problem is now finally coming to an end.
Eventually received the dials - they are a very high quality product as good as the photos on the porschedials website. I can post photos if needed.
So communications was not good with maybe a lot of unfortunate personal stuff with Ed but he eventually delivered.
I did not ask but maybe he has been inundated with orders so is dealing with a huge backlog now.
Hope this helps those who haven't received their order yet.
This guy is a clown, if you operate a business and collect mo eye from people you Must deliver, personal anything can't get in the way of the transaction once committed. I emailed him 5 different times to get dials ordered for my manual 991.GT3RS conversion and no go! Thanks to other Rennlist members recommendations I went with FVD. Call Rhonda and she will get you sorted. Custom colors , lettering and auto delete delivered in 3 weeks flat. Awesome

...the only problem with FVD is you have to order all 5 dials. i know many who only want singles.

You are absolutely correct, I myself only needed one, the center Tach but also had to order all 4 in my case. (Lcd screen), I guess I was just happy to be able to get it done that I kinda overlooked that.
