997 GT2 vs 997.1 GT3 vs 997.2 GT3. PICK ONE. Take any and all factors into account (desirability, feel, power, value, rareness, etc...)
Gt2 and Gt3 can't be compared in same contest imo. Different animals; not better or worse. do you like quiet but violent "woosh, bang" or linearly building mezger rage? You'll know after 1 drive.

Asking Gt3 .1 vs .2 or gt3RS .1 vs .2 is a decent argument to be made.

Congrats on the purchase. I never get sick of seeing pics of a pumpkin getting delivered...dreamed of it for years until it happened to me

^ a GT3 guy usually will not liek GT2 and vice versa. so it's reallly hard to compared.
i have a lot of GT3/RS but no GT2 and never will.
there is nothing wrong with GT2, i just dont like them.
and many do not like GT3

Thanks, me too, i feel like someone else is going to experience what i felt when i first drove it and it makes me happy for them. This one has haunted me. last year i found and bought pumpkin like you after years of dreaming of one and it was short lived, in the 6th week of ownership I let my brother drive it and he wrapped it into a tree and wrote it off.
So this delivery meant a lot to me

LOL, yeah I do, was pretty pissed when I heard but changed my tune when I saw the wreck, he and my cousin could have been killed. Insurance covered it, i bit my lip and told myself its just orange metal.

Glad they survived, that you didn't hold it against him and you got a replacement. That said, I wouldn't let him drive it
