R- development and postponed "PTS"...

Making progress this week...
Replicating factory process. Initial underbody spraying being done first,
and then the doors, under bonnet, main panels etc will be next week.
It's going to be a comprehensive job:

I'm happy with the way it's going, but very impatient now!
I keep seeing photos of all the other Rs, and am just wanting to drive it again...
Will be worth the wait though, and good timing for spring/summer.

Not had time to post an update recently.
In the meantime, my R seems to have become worthless, due to manual GT3, so I won't feel so bad about pulling it apart ;-)
All the components and the body shell have been painted now, and it's back on its wheels.
I'm going to visit this week to decide on stripe colors and then they will be painted on and sealed in.
One side of the car has white decals and one has silver at the moment, but I'm not yet convinced on either. I need to see it in the flesh, but I'm thinking the silver needs to be brighter (GT silver is probably what I was picturing, like the 997 4.0). The white stripes are striking, and many end up with them, but I just want to make sure it doesn't look too Dodge Viper-esque.
They are getting some more decals made this week before I get there (including the side stripes in black as per original spec).
Anyway, I'm getting very impatient to get out driving again, but all is on programme for the end of the month/April.

Footsoldier: That is a stunning shade of blue. 😳. You are 100% insane (in a good way, and I completely dig it)!
Your original rendering as far as stripe colors is the way to go. Distant second would be silver.
White is too sharp a contrast IMHO.
Congrats on having her almost done. 😊

Thanks all...
This was the car that first got me into blue...I was going to order 918 in Voodoo, but factory suggested Arrow (same as R), as being an original Porsche color.
The stripes on it are GT silver, which is what I am thinking (no border to keep as original R).
Will be easier to decide when I see the car this week. Definitely keeping original wheel color and calliper.
Original idea, (which might well still be the end result):
