Prices seem to defy gravity, and even upstage the US stock rally.

"Surprise of the show was undoubtedly a 2004 Porsche 996 GT3 RS with less than 200 kms from new, which fetched a staggering £343,000 including premium."

WOW...$427k US

Well,

That 996gt3rs is an absolute unicorn. Think it had delivery miles. Like 100miles.

Actually a bargain if you ask me.

A normal condition 996gt3rs is probably half of that value. These articles are 😋

Despite the UK being the 3rd largest 911 Sports market, we actually get very little" halo" allocation. As such demand will always exceed supply. Even the 4 year old 991GT3 are still way above its list price. 91RS for a Low Miles car are ask 100k GBP over list....Imv this will go higher, now production has ceased.

Don't forget the 6RS, is lowest of all nos for an RS.......

I can't believe the air cooled car market here, still going through the roof. Interesting to see where it settles out at.

This^

A good condition/low mile 996rs will surpass 997rs4.0. So few mint 996rs left in the world. They where all driven the way it was intended.
This car was a true unicorn. Less than a handful. Buyer got a great deal.

Just to clarify,

I'm talking low mile museum kind of cars. The simple supply and demand applies.

Less than 10 996gt3rs in this kind of condition.

Probably 100s of bubble wrapped 997rs4.0

The price of a good 996 GT3 RS in Europe is now almost the same as a 997 GT3 RS.

It was the first RS done under Andreas Preuninger and there were only 682 built. These two factors combined are going to make this a highly sort after car in the coming years. Get one now if you can.

There are far fewer mint, like new, delivery mile Porsches than there is money.

Would not go that far, lol......Well at least not in UK, a Low miles under 500 RHD 97.4.0RS will make around 550-600k. Maybe a touch more. Don't see a 6RS at any point close.

This is my 900 Mile car.....
